Cheesy Love

So what should one do with yarn from an ill-fated project that was sure to ignate hate and disdain from the knitter? Think of a cheesy, lovey, heart-string-pulling project that forces you to fall BACK in love with the yarn.

I'm log-cabining for love, baby! Combining the ill-fated Truffle Cotton Fleece dyelot, some stash Cream Cotton Fleece, and a few colors straight from yarn.com... and away we go!

Just how cheesy?

The two center squares each stand for Matt and I, and will have our names embroidered on the wrong side (awe....). Each additional rectangle is going to represent 1 month of dating, and I'm going to keep going until we put this relationship on paper or some other landmark event (double-AWE......). This could be a lap-blanket or a bedspread when all is said and done.

See!?!?! How could I hate this yarn!?!?

I need to knit 5 more rectangles to get caught up, and then I'll do one a month, lather, rinse, repeat, until I am a betrothed woman.
