THANK YOU THANK YOU and THANK YOU AGAIN!
FOs!
As in, multiple projects. Yes, there has actually kniting and completing going on at Casa de Wine and Needles. Without further ado, I present to you the Oh My Stars modified Hug and Kureyon Palm Pilot Cozy :
2 Skeins Knit Picks Merino in Nutmeg, size 10 1/2 & 11 needles. I will definitely make another one of these - I LOVE it. When I do, I will knit it in the round - Under those arms are the crappiest increases/decreases I have ever done.
About 1 ball Kureyon, in color #88. Size 8 needles. Knit into a rectangle and sew up. Brain surgery, I tell you.
Ok i'm getting way off track. Back to the knitting stuff.
In true D to-the E to-the L-I-A form, I started about 3 new things since I last posted. Here's an idea of the starting rotation from this weekend*:

Batting first for the San Jose Knitters, the Red Hat Purple Scarf!
Batting second and "warming" up in the bullpin, Mohair and Wool Legwarmers!
Playing Short Rows and batting 3nd, the Baby Dottie Cardigan!
and today's relief pitcher is Patrons Grace, waiting to be knit up in to booties to be gifted with the cardi.
*this update has been sponsered by Delia's uncontrollable excitiment about the start of the MLB season, highlighted by the Giants glorious win over the Dodgers andJackass Jeff Kent on opening day, a game at which she was present and screaming at the top of her lungs.

Not much else to report; I'm still swamped at work, complaining there aren't enough hours in the day to knit, and drinking too much wine. Some things never change.

I love your shrug! Usually they look kinda strange to me, but you look so cute in yours. :)
BTW, I hope you threw something at Kent. He's such an ass.
Ahh a good birthday!! I was beginning to think you had fallen off the earth!! I was sitting here at the computer yesterday afternoon reading knitting blogs and srtoking my Prize alpaca cloud on my cheek!! ahhh there's a few hours of therapy I won't have to pay for!! I think I will just leave it in the skein and pull it out and stroke it when I am stressed...
Thanks!!
Love the shrug! Where'd you get the Patons Grace? I've been scouring the Silicon Valley for some.

CJ - I found the Patron's Grace at Michaels at Westgate Mall. They have a pretty darn good yarn selection for a craft store! They stock a whole bunch of colors - it took every thing I had not to binge and buy about 20 balls!
Tara - I was taking aim at Kent with some sunflower seeds when he was playing first. I think I got close a couple times ;)
Thanks Delia! That was one that I don't often frequent and am usually north of that area. I was looking for some to knit "Short and Sweet" from VK spring/summer 2004.
hug is lovely! what a wonderful sweaterlet for spring!
Grrrl, where you been at?? Missed your posties! I forgot your birthday, but if it makes you feel any better, I forgot mine, as well. And orange IS the new blue!
