I'm going home next weekend to see the little guy with my brother who is flying in from Portland. Dottie will be finished by then, I swear. I'm already thumbing through patterns for my next project for him - it gets up to about a million degrees in Fresno over the summer so anything wool is out. I'm thinking about making another satchel, so I may swing by CommuKNITy and see if they have any bluish shades of Artyarns Ultra Merino. The first one came out great (and SUPER quick), so I think this is my best option. Anyone else care to offer any ideas? Something I may be able to finish by Saturday?
On another note, I have done a whole bunch knitting since my last post.
FO: The Stargazer Socks, Heart Satchel #1, baby Booties
Made Progress: Arabella (with new modifications, roughly done up here), Retro Stripes, Clapotis (starting the decrease sections), Baby Dottie (all seamed up, just finishing up the neckband)
I also had an impluse purchase for one of my "Upcoming" items. Because at this point, I really need impulse purchases.
Stay tuned for photos, the recipe for Chevy's salsa, Giants praising/A's bashing, and some joyous commentary on my past 2 weekends.
