Steve's a pretty crazy guy. Like, the kind of guy who jumps out from behind walls to scare the sh*t out of my sister and I. The kind who wears napkins on his head. Yes, I definitely got my personality from him.
Last weekend, for Fathers Day, we took him to catch NASCAR weekend in Sonoma. This was a weekend unlike any other that I have experienced in a loooooooong time. When we got to the hotel the night before and my dad jokingly asked if I had brought my tube top, short-shorts, and high heels, he wasn't kidding!
It was a good father-daughter weekend, none-the-less. Dad got to sit in the Earnhardt Terrace and Lexie and I got visors. Woo.

I've been on a finishing spree the past few days, starting with Clap I (minus weaving in of the ends, hense no photo). Instead, you get miles and miles of stockingette. Cause nothing is more exciting than miles of St St.

Wanna know what your Hot Lava is going to look like 3 hanks in? Here you go.

The Farmers Market Bag I started about 10 monthes ago. No joke. It gets a trial run a week from tomorrow at the Sunnyvale Market. Stay tuned for an action shot.

DA BEARS. Enough said. This should be my 'take to the cabin and start knitting when alcohol hinders you from focusing on dpn's' project, but Jason knows me too well and already advised me to find a new project (the boy is highly protective of this acrylic). So I started the OSW last night to fill this void, although I now realize that they AREN'T kidding when they say this thing goes fast. I'm almost 1/2 way done! May need a back-up plan.
Lots of time to knit this weekend:
1. A's v. White Sox game tonight.
2. In the car on the way to Fish Camp (* yes Natalie, there IS a Fish Camp. About 1 mile from the South entrance of Yosemite National Park)
3. While drinking wine on the deck at Fish Camp
4. Sitting in traffic heading back to San Jo.
Welcome to the weekend. See you all Tuesday!
