This afternoon Matt, Viva, and I are heading for the hills again. I just CANNOT wait to get out of here. Work hasn't been particularly demanding, but I just need to mentally and physically check out for a few days.

hey... i read your blog a lot - definately one of my daily/weekly visits... and i just wanted to say thanks for posting that link about memorial day. this past february my boyfriend lost his brother in ramadi. he was only 24 and it's a very sad thing. memorial day has a completely new meaning to us now and it's still very surreal to know that he is gone.
it warms my heart that there are people who really honor memorial day because honestly, a few years ago - it didn't mean much to me.
so thank you.
