The Irish Hiking Scarf

Here are some photos of the Irish Hiking Scarf, which I am making for my brother as an Christmas gift. He just moved to NYC and isn't used to the cold yet, so I figure this thing will be nice and warm for him :)

That is only 1 ball of Cascade 220 (plus the little bit that's left in the bottom photo). I am going to do one more full ball before calling it quits.

So while I had the camera out I started snapping photos of what was around me on this Wednesday evening:

This is our fish tank in the living room. 2 of them have names: Angelina, the angel fish with with a disease that makes her lip swell up huge, and Butch, the little guy who tries to beat up all the others.

The kitchen, painted to match the Naked Lady's hair

My night
And of course, the kitty kitty
Now back to the Wine and Needles....

wow you're much further on your irish hiking scarf than i am. I keep getting distracted by other projects. It looks beautiful though!

I put about 1 foot on this scarf last Sunday, while I was making Dolmas. There is a lot of wait time, so I had ample opportunity...
